Our Services: Professional & Personal Development Retreats
If you’re looking to connect with like-minded people outside of work while continuing to develop personally and professionally, we have a regular calendar of themed events. Generally focused on leaders, but open to people from all industries and disciplines, these events offer time and space to focus on personal growth and the opportunity to learn from nature and horses.
Equus Coaching pairs you with a horse as a coaching partner for a somatic learning experience in nature. Don’t worry—your human coach (Martina) is still there to facilitate and guide the entire journey! You’ll finesse your collaboration and communication skills, balance your energy, gain confidence, or learn to set boundaries—all in a setting away from your inbox, everyday habits, and routines. You’ll feel connected with something that’s much larger than yourself, both literally and figuratively. Learn more about Equus coaching here.

FAQs
-
No experience with horses is required. Your Equus Coach and equine partner are highly experienced and will help you navigate the entire session, regardless of your experience level. All of the activities take place on the ground in the pasture, round pen, arena, or at the hitching post. You will not be riding the horses.
-
You will be doing activities with the horses that are designed to elicit specific learning objectives or awareness-building. The activities require no specific skills or experience, but all are hands-on and interactive. There is no right or wrong way for the equine coaching experience to play out. Individuals have unique experiences based on their intentions for the session, along with what they are drawn to doing with the horse.

Year round: Choose clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dusty. Always wear closed-toed shoes and no sandals please! Most sessions take place outdoors so you will be exposed to the elements.
Summertime: Hat and sunscreen and a layer in case you get chilly.
Wintertime: Wear/bring warm clothing, a coat, gloves, and a hat. Layers are best, a hat and sunscreen.
