Our Services: Executive Retreats and Workshops

Feeling like you need time away from the regular routine to break out of established patterns and spark innovation and inspiration? Executive retreats and workshops help disrupt the status quo and challenge you to think in new ways.

Northshore can work with you to create an offsite, retreat, or workshop that’s customised to your specific needs and aligned with your objectives, whether it’s improving organisational performance, leadership effectiveness, or overall business success.

Executive team offsites and retreats

Get out of the office and connect with other executive leaders in an offsite or retreat.
This option can range from a single day to several days and is ideal for:

  • Making time for team connection and alignment

  • Fostering a sense of team cohesion and collaboration

  • Leadership development and personal growth

  • Developing strategies to achieve organisational goals

  • Innovation and problem-solving

Who are these events for?

Retreats and offsites are ideally suited for executive teams and leadership teams. We can easily accommodate up to 20 participants, but often work with much smaller groups.

Where do they take place?

Westerlands is our recommended venue for offsites and retreats—it’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature and your team. This regenerative farm is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park between London and the South Coast. You’ll be inspired by nature at this sustainable, family-owned business.

We can also source a suitable location in London, near your office, or further afield. We’ve facilitated retreats everywhere, from Australia to the USA.

What does the agenda include?

Beyond facilitated or self-guided team activitives we can integrate a whole range of creative and restorative activities to enhance your experience, including:

  • Equine-assisted team and individual coaching activities (see below for more details)

  • Foraging

  • Art/drawing/painting

  • Stargazing

  • Walks, WildFit (outdoor gym), yoga

  • Meditation

  • WildSpa (health and healing treatments like massage, reflexology, etc.)

  • Horse riding

  • Clay pigeon shooting

  • Chef-prepared menus

Featured offering: Learn from working with horses

If you’re ready for a truly transformational leadership coaching experience, Equus Coaching pairs you with a horse as a coaching partner for a somatic learning experience in nature. Don’t worry—your human coach (Martina) is still there to facilitate and guide the entire journey! You’ll finesse your collaboration and communication skills, balance your energy, gain confidence, or learn to set boundaries—all in a setting away from your inbox, everyday habits, and routines. You’ll feel connected with something that’s much larger than yourself, both literally and figuratively.

Equus Coaching is the ideal format if you’re looking to:

  • Collaborate more effectively

  • Improve communication

  • Develop your authentic leadership style

  • Explore modern leadership principles

  • Shift unwanted patterns

  • Set boundaries more clearly

Martina is a Master Facilitator® with industry-leading Center for Equus Coaching, accredited by ICF, and a member of ICF.

Please note that all Equus Coaching takes place on the ground. It does not involve horse riding, and no prior experience with horses is necessary.

How does the planning process work?

If you’re interested in booking an offsite or retreat, we’ll set up an initial meeting to discuss your goals. We’ll work together to co-create the agenda. Whether you know exactly what you’d like to see on the schedule or you’re looking for someone else to take the reins, we’ll work with you to design your bespoke program. You’ll review and sign off on the agenda, and we’ll partner with you to make sure your event is a success.

How do you get started?

If you’re interested in working together to plan your offsite or retreat, book a call. In this complimentary 30-minute session, we’ll learn more about your goals and needs to ensure Northshore is the right fit for your event.

Onsite workshops for executives and teams

Engage with your peers or team in these shorter, more targeted sessions which are generally held at your office, but can be arranged at other locations. Workshops are ideal for:

  • Capability building (modern leadership, organisational agility, human-centred product development)

  • Identifying strategic priorities, goal setting, assessing your organisational culture or ways of working

  • Both one-off and series-style sessions, depending on the content and your team’s needs

The planning process for workshops is the same as for offsites or retreats—we’ll work closely with you to co-create the agenda to ensure your goals are met.
